[Fredslist] Suggestions for places to visit in Seven Lakes region of NY

We are planning to take a day trip with the dog and get to know the Seven
Lakes region. We need suggestions as to places to visit that we can take
the dog, have shade and a place to sit down/relax/eat and scenic
drives/quaint towns.
