Financial Reporting Specialist
The team is primarily responsible for the scope, quality, and management relevance of counterparty credit risk information arising from UBS lending and trading activities. The focus of the team is threefold: (a) Establish, operate and continue to develop a portfolio information report suite that meaningfully aggregates and slices UBS credit exposures/risks; (b) Tackle specific information problems in business areas and sub-portfolios requiring additional credit risk decision making support; (c) Support the development of a superior data infrastructure to aid the development and implementation of aggregate/portfolio level credit risk reporting and analysis. The team works closely with the methodologies used in the measurement, modelling and aggregation of counterparty credit risk for both internal and external (e.g. regulatory) purposes.
 
Role of Risk Analyst – Wealth Management Americas Analysis & Reporting
We are looking for a highly motivated person to take up the challenge. The primary role of the risk analyst is to produce high quality run-the-bank risk reporting for Wealth Management Americas, for local, group level, and regulatory audiences. This entails data collection, data validation, report prototyping as well as appropriate analysis of key concentrations and trends.

The role is responsible to interact with colleagues within the risk, accounting, and controlling organizations. Participate in internal and external audit meetings and fulfil audit requests. Understand internal client requests concerning risk relevant topics and be able to produce reporting and analysis to meet internal client needs. 

The analyst will also be required to liaise with the IT to develop robust solutions for efficient report productions. Additionally there is significant project involvement that involves: meeting with project managers and broader Risk Control / business user community to synthesise/prioritise requirements; meeting with IT and change teams to specify development needs; follow up on progress and user acceptance testing of change requests.
 
Studies:
·  At least University graduate (mathematics, statistics, economics or business/finance).

Professional Experience:
·  Risk control, finance or accounting experience; The ability to query, retrieve, manage, and analyze data is a must.
 
Technical:
Specific systems experience include SAP Business Explorer, and advanced MS Excel. Quantitative analysis expertise using the SAS tool, as well as Basel II /III knowledge, is recommended. Knowledge of database applications such as MS Access, VBA, SQL, and Business Objects is desirable.
