[Fredslist] Wood-burning furnace help needed in Newtown CT

Dear Gotham,

 

My mother's oil-burning furnace has a HOLE in it.  The house has a separate
wood-burning furnace that hasn't been used in decades but is still hooked
up.  Can anyone PLEASE make a recommendation for someone who can either
clear/repair/inspect the wood-burning furnace and/or repair the oil-burning
furnace?  The Standard Oil tech seems to think the only option is immediate
replacement of the whole thing but I'm skeptical.  

 

She is off I-84 in Newtown, CT.
