Thrilled that you finally took my advice and met the one and only Gabrielle and that Phyllis even got you to a photo-shoot. I too am the proud owner of several Gabrielle Carlson's irresistable designs which have accompanied me to the Met Opera, Palm Beach parties, a boardroom or two. Some of her clients have event paraded her creations to the Whitehouse. But her styles also flow just as easily to the beach, a barbecue or resort travel.
 
Gabrielle Carlson designs will be on display at the Feb. 6th Savvy Ladies Gala...where a silent auction purchase can even be tax-deductible.

For those who don’t know Gabrielle Carlson, allow me to introduce you to a true Gotham Genius....  She speaks with a funny South African accent which is dramatic and charming beyond the pale.  And, if you never saw her original fashions, than look no further than gabrielllecarlson.com, and get inspired to become a client... Her clothes are as divine as she is....

 And it was several years ago that I met her, largely through the middle woman efforts of Kelly Wells over lunch and then Phyllis Dubrow who had urged her to speak with me about modeling for her.  

Fast forward several years...through many mind-bending conversations culminating in a fabulous photo shoot that took place this past Monday, January 20, while most of you were celebrating Martin Luther King’s birthday.  She planned, then sewed, shortened and pinned me to within a nana inch of my skin...ouch!   We edited, changed our minds and alas, started from scratch.  But finally we made it we spent the day doing some of what you see here.

These photos were taken by a studio assistant with a mini IPAD.   But you get the gist.  There are more on my Facebook page if you dare to look..But the real credit goes to Gabrielle.

So from my heart to Gabrielle Carlson’s, a great big Gotham THANK YOU.
