[Fredslist] may I humbly suggest..

I've been in Gotham a while and see the posts on Fred's List immediately as
they are posted (vs in digest form) so I can respond to them. 

 

Today I saw a Fred's List posting asking for a referral that brings about
these humble suggestions: 

.        whenever you are looking for someone or something by referral from
Gotham, please search the membership first and then coming up with no one or
nothing, you should ask for a referral via Fred's List. We are a tribe and
we need to consult each other first.

.        that being said, it's a good idea for everyone in Gotham to review
their own membership profile and be sure they have it fully filled out,
including keywords that will allow you to be found in a search such as I am
suggesting above. There are too many Gothamites with incomplete profiles. I
know, because I search for Gothamites first when I need something.
