Yesterday's Gotham's Book Club featured Mac Griswold discussing her book THE MANOR: Three Centuries at a Slave Plantation on Long Island. The book sparked an in-depth discussion - most of us were surprised and shocked by slavery right in our own backyard.

Our next book - to be discussed in April (more to follow) - is glowingly reviewed in today's The New York Times.
