Even your credit card purveyor's credit card gets hacked!

Mine was hacked this morning for a $3.75 online purchase at a Brazilian
office supply store.

 

The bad guys start with a small amount and work the way up using the same or
another card. Eventually they are buying expensive electronics which are
fenceable.

 

Moral of my story: act immediately when this happens to you but first you
have to know it indeed happened. How?

Be sure all your credit and debit cards are set up to report by email or
text to you every time the card is used. 

That's how I found out. And I acted immediately to close the card.

 

I hope you never have to thank me for this.
