Dear Gothamites,

Amy, my grandson Alexander's "wonderful" (says my daughter) second-grade teacher (he's now in 8th grade) in London, is coming to New York for part of a sabbatical she has won at the American School in London.

What she is looking for is: "a room with a private bathroom to rent for the (almost) two month period from September 1st to October 27th, either in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I am very happy to do house-sitting or cat or dog sitting, too." She can pay up to $1,000 per month.

Can we work some Gotham Magic for Amy, folks?
