[Fredslist] Update on Dreamland School Ghana

Gothamites,

I wanted to give you an update.

We are happy to have finalized our logo for the Dreamland School Ghana Running Team, a team created to formally link running with donation generation for the school and its construction.

Please find the logo attached and let us know if you would be interested in running with us or running any race anywhere and wearing a running team t-shirt to promote the cause!

We still need sponsors for most the 8th and 9th graders featured in "The Book of Dreams" so please take a look at it. So far we have only three sponsored children.

Also, my wife and I are planning to travel back to Ghana the first 2 weeks in September so we will let you know what we are going to take with us so you can donate like you did last year!

Lastly, we are applying for 501c3 status in the hopes of bringing corporate-level donation and tax-deductible donations. Our own Susan Zinder is doing the paperwork for us. Hopefully she will do it fast enough (and contingent upon the IRS's cooperation of course!) that we will eligible for the Summer of Giving before year's end, so please keep us in mind and have a great wekeend.

Good Afternoon
I have a question on behalf of one of my clients. My client is getting a
divorce and recently signed a stipulation of settlement. She has some
medical disabilities and therefore can not work full time. Will her
applying/and or receiving social security disability have bearing on her
child support?
