[Fredslist] watch 60 Minutes tonight

CBS will air an inspirational story about the Lost Boys of the Sudan tonight
on 60 Minutes. 

 

I am fortunate to know Gabriel Bol Deng, one of the so-called "Lost Boys,"
and have watched the amazing work he has done for his South Sudanese village
of Ariang: he raised funds to build a well AND a school
(www.hopeforariang.org) and now the girls receive their education alongside
the boys, instead of having been tasked to fetch water for the village from
so far away. Much to be learned here from Gabriel in "it's better to give
than receive."
