A friend of mine who has been in marketing with the same fortune 500 company for 13+ years is seeking a new challenge.  His resume is attached.

As my resume shows, I have 14+ years of direct marketing experience, of which 13 have been at American Express Publishing.  My title is Senior Marketing Manager and my skill set is broad.  I manage 50+ acquisition and retention efforts that include direct mail, email, insert programs, advertisements and web promotions.  I manage the entire lifecycle of the customer.  I work with third party vendors and manage the production of the items we promote, the fulfillment of the orders we receive as well as the distribution of the items we sell.  In addition, I maintain sole ownership of all the p+l's.  I wear many hats.

As I embark on my next venture I am looking to exit the Publishing industry and enter a more stable industry that allows me to leverage all of the direct marketing skills I have gained and honed over the years.  If there was one aspect of my job I enjoy the least it is the financial side.  My true enjoyment comes from managing a project from inception to completion and being able to market a product or service creatively.  I am a strategic thinker with a proven track record of establishing sound marketing strategies that meet corporate objectives.  I truly feel my skills and experience translate to many different industries and companies.
