[Fredslist] Avon Walk - October 2013

Dear Everyone:


This coming October, I am walking 39.3 miles in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I have decided to train for this event in support of two close friends who have suffered, battled and won their fight against this disease. In fact, we are walking together and have formed Team TWAB: Together We Are Better.



It's a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next several months training and fundraising. As many of you know, breast cancer has become the second leading cause of cancer death among women. With more than 230,000 new cases diagnosed each year, 2.5 million U.S. women are currently living with breast cancer. And more than 40,000 will die from the disease this year.



As part of my endeavor, I am required to raise at least $1,800 in donations. In an effort to help my team, I have committed to not only achieving, but to surpassing this goal. And of course, I need and appreciate your help. Would you or your company/business please consider making a fully tax-deductible donation to assist Team TWAB in achieving this goal?
