Quality Assurance Coordinator

The ideal candidate will maintain industry quality compliance standards by evaluating the quality environment and developing quality and compliance strategies. Periodically conducts internal/external audits and implements changes and improvements as needed. Ensures products meet specifications and requirements. Proactively and consistently manages suppliers, quality standards, safety compliance, internal/external audits and all other quality functions.

Responsibilities:

1.       Manages product quality complaints and corrective actions.
2.       Communicates with suppliers and customers via e-mail, phone and travel as necessary.
3.       Documents control (C of C/C of A's, DMF letters, USP testing, product specifications).
4.       Writes and updates SOP - Evaluates, plans and designs procedures for quality assurance.
5.       Analyze, review and design documents and checklists
6.       Suggests changes in quality standards, research new quality standards and implementation of new technologies.
7.       Creates and implements training modules, houses training records.
8.       Develops and enforces plans, programs, policies, procedures and SOP's
9.       Manage Quality Assurance employees to ensure the utmost control and adherence to policy is upheld within the company.

Required Skills, Abilities:

1.       Must have ability to multi-task, manage time and set priorities
2.       Good computer skills
3.       Great oral and written communication skills
4.       Familiar with CGMP's.
5.       Excellent organizational skills and self-motivated
6.       Detail orientated.
7.       Knowledge of Mas 500
8.       Knowledge of OSHA regulations
9.       Be a leader as well as a teacher to staff

Required Education:

1.       Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in area of specialty.
2.       Must have at least 5-7 years of successful experience within a Quality Assurance position.
3.       Must have managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
