Often I'm writing a document where I have to quote certain paragraphs from a
contract.

I still can't find a way to number paragraphs starting with a number other
than "1".  Or where some paragraphs are numbered, and some aren't.  (I can't
just cut and paste, because the contract usually is in hard copy.)
