Hello, Gotham --

Please join me in wishing Marc Halpert a speedy recovery from a leg injury suffered over the weekend. Marc expects to be sent home from the hospital on Tuesday.

Incredibly responsible leader of Gotham New Haven that he is, Marc called me from the hospital to ask if I could take his place in to shepherding Connecticut train riders to Wednesday's Gotham cocktail party. 

I won't be able to fill those shoes completely, so it will be a group project that starts in the first car of the 3:52 MetroNorth train from New Haven.

In Marc's words:

A few years ago Gotham New Haven’s Tessa Marquis had a great idea: 

all CT-based Gothamites going to the Gotham summer networking party 

could meet on a certain MetroNorth train and ride in together. 

 

By the time we all get to GCT we would know each other even better.

That became a tradition.

And the number of us traveling together is growing each year! 

 

So once again, Gotham summer networking partiers from CT can all meet

on the train and ride to and from the party together. Details below.
