[Fredslist] Ed Bienstock: incredible resource!

When I first met Ed a number of years ago I was impressed that he thought
enough of Gotham to pass fine jewelry around at luncheons. I file things
like that away in my mind, knowing someday that my daughter (and eventually
my son) would be engaged and that we have a few very old family diamonds
that would make beautiful rings. 

 

When my daughter gave us the news that she was engaged, I told her she HAD
TO call Ed. 

 

Even from far away Seattle, she and Ed arranged all the logistics: she
wanted to design her own unique ring and matching wedding band, with one of
the diamonds that belonged to my wife's great grandmother (100+ years old
stone). Ed evaluated the stones, and worked with my daughter throughout to
decide on the right one, the right metal and setting, and no one could have
helped my daughter throughout the process as well as Ed did. 

She really loves her ring and asked me to tell you that.



We are so lucky to have great friends in Gotham to help share happy
occasions!
