No, I am NOT a car guru.

 

I don't know a transmission from a clutch.

 

I am a security & privacy nut and this story has been on my research
radar for a few years,,,under the heading of INSECURITY OF THE INTERNET
OF THINGS.

 

Wait till hackers gain control of your fridge, coffee maker and home
thermostats...all because manufacturers opt for the lowest bidder when
it comes to security.
