[Fredslist] SS United States to Set Sail on CBS Sunday Morning (January 20th)

Dear Tribe,

I have been advising the SS United States Conservancy over the past year in
finding a redevelopment partner to help transform the ³Big U² into a new
waterfront attraction in a major East Coast venue.  The SS United States
celebrated the 60th anniversary of its maiden voyage in 2012.  The ship
remains the largest passenger vessel constructed in the USA at nearly 1,000
feet and the fastest ocean liner to ever cross the North Atlantic.

Thus, I wanted to let you know about a special opportunity to learn more
about this unique ship and her potential future use.  This weekend CBS
Sunday Morning, a nationally broadcast program, hosted by Charles Osgood,
will explore the extraordinary history of the "Big U" as well as the
Conservancy's urgent effort underway to preserve the ship's legacy and
fulfill her economic potential.
 
The show will air at 9:00 AM eastern standard time on CBS.  Be sure to tune
in this Sunday, January 20 - or set your DVR - and set sail aboard
"America's Flagship!"
