Subject: [Fredslist] Armed Personnel in Public Schools? Gotham East End Question at Todays Meeting
Bob Fallarino posed this question to our group today. Bob sits on a Nassau County School board. Liberals and Conservatives did not fall into neat, orderly or typical votes and the large majority (roughly 80%) said YES, provided they were undercover. Read below.

Re: Tribe input on armed personnel in public schools
Hi all,
Thursday at the East End group, I asked for input/opinions about whether there is (or should be) a place for guns in public schools in the aftermath of the tragedy in Newtown, CT. Although I am a plaintiff medical malpractice attorney on Long Island, I also sit on a local School Board. I am trying to gather diverse opinions from as many people in our area as possible. It did cause a lively discussion at our meeting. Everyone had clearly given it much thought even before the question was posed by me. I would like to throw it open to anyone else in the tribe. Any input would help me as I do my due diligence.
THANK YOU EAST ENDERS!!
BOB
