[Fredslist] Labor Report & Unemployment Rate Consistent at 7.8% & Q4 2012 UNEMPLOYMENT RATES BY OCCUPATION

The latest job report numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics for December 2012 are out and the unemployment rate of 7.8% has been consistent since September.
 
 

 
 
 
 


·        U.S. payrolls increased by 155,000 in December, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
·        The private sector added 168,000 jobs during the month. 
·        The unemployment rate remained at 7.8 percent. The unemployment rate for college-degreed workers 25 and older is 3.9 percent.
