Let’s see if we can have some Gotham magic for my friend, Monica Santos.
Her resume is attached and her talents are varied.

 

At Fox 5 News/ Good Day NY Ms. Santos had the opportunity to interview
celebrities & prominent figures. She pitched and obtained guests for the
show, as well as prepped guests including celebrities, dignitaries, and
those impacting current events. She also covered a variety of events in NYC
such as Fashion Week  and the United Nations General Assembly just to name a
few as well as field-produced for several other new stories, assisted on
shoots, and assisted anchors and reporters on their news stories and
packages. She cut packages together with editors for reporters and anchors;
assisted segment producers with their segments and also cut video for the
Good Day New York show and Fox 5 Evening News and wrote scripts when needed,
among many other tasks.

 


Being an assistant director, producer, and host of a variety of live
televised events, such as Miss Portugal U.S.A. and Miss Portugal Day
Pageants, has enabled her to recruit and obtain contestants, sponsors,
judges, prizes, venues, and production staff. She also created
advertisements and wrote press releases for various newspapers, radio and TV
stations.

                                                                    

Through the position of being a Director of Special Events for the American
Cancer Society, she planned and coordinated Relay For Life events, where she
organized and prepared onsite logistics, venue selections, décor, catering,
guest lists and created/designed marketing and advertising materials. She
obtained corporate sponsorships, entertainment, speakers and publicity as
well as secured, built and maintained relationships with sponsors and
volunteers and maintained financial budget records. She also recruited
volunteers, committee members, teams, and team members. As well as arranged
all kickoffs events, opening ceremonies, survivor dinners, and luminary
ceremonies.
