[Fredslist] Gotham New Haven welcomes Jeff Rubin

Gotham New Haven is growing again. Another new member! Please welcome Jeff
Rubin of HUB International in Fairfield, CT.  In his own words: 

My name is Jeff Rubin. I am Senior VP & branch manager for HUB's Fairfield
CT office. I bring over 25 years of insurance and executive management
experience to Gotham. As a commercial insurance broker to small and middle
market companies, my team and I function as our clients risk management
department. We design their insurance program, negotiate with multiple
insurance companies to get the best quote, protect them by reviewing
contracts, leases & insurance clauses, we negotiate claims, perform loss
control and so much more. As an manager, I have lead companies with 30 and
100 employees and for the last 20 years I have been a senior executive at
HUB.. I have worn many hats with reporting responsibility for service,
sales, marketing, HR and Facilities. I have also worked on many acquisitions
as part of M&A teams.  I have an MBA and taken many doctoral courses in
management. I can be a resource to Gothamites and their clients or prospects
in any of these areas and more.

Personally, I live in Harrison NY (near White Plains) with my wife Clara and
my son Ben (13) and our dog Indy (mini labradoodle). My older kids are in
college, Samantha is a junior photography major at the school of visual
arts, living in Brooklyn and my son Alex is a sophomore at Keene State in
NH. I coach little league and basketball in Harrison. Season ticket holder
for the Yanks and Jets - so I have ups and downs depending on the season. I
volunteer at Community Synagogue of Rye, UJA of NY and National Jewish
Medical Center.
