[Fredslist] how are the sidewalks in midtown?

I am heading to the city by train for a holiday party and wanted to know if
the sidewalks are clear since I need to walk (1 crutch!) from Grand Central
to W. 49th, mostly underground from GCT, but a few blocks north and west. 

 

Can someone look outside in that area and give me a sidewalk report?
