"Please be advised everyone has to reapply for the star exemption, before year end, except for the senior enhanced which is based on your tax return.  Storm damage must be reported by the taxpayer to the assessor before January 21, 2014 for the possibility of special storm tax reduction.

Additionally, every property can apply for a tax assessment reduction based on over-valuation during January and February.
