Prestigious midtown west law firm has an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&T Paralegal.  Experience must include knowledge of summary dispossess proceedings including providing clerical and administrative support to a partner and attorneys in a wide variety of efforts. Duties typically include preparing rent demands, petitions, dealing with process server and city marshal, answering phones, greeting visitors, filing, faxing, copying, scanning, data entry, typing, light typing, and general office duties. This individual will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the NYC office.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Should have two plus years of landlord & tenant law firm experience.

* Must have advanced computer skills (strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications), must know styles, proofreading skills, grammar skills, and organizational skills.

* Must have working knowledge of Automated Management Systems software program.
* Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate in person, by email, or telephone, with the Firm's clients and others within and outside of the Firm, with tact, diplomacy, and discretion, while at all times maintaining Firm and client confidentiality, and have an excellent telephone voice.

* Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as Dictaphone, copier, fax machine, etc.
* Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment,
* Must have the ability to multi-task,
* Must be organized, possess good leadership skills and be self-motivated.

* Good attendance and reliability is critical.
