[Fredslist] MAD Giving: 100%

Today Gotham's Make a Difference Group ("MAD") made a difference by formally
kicking off our Summer of Giving Campaign.

With 23 people at the meeting (what, you weren't there?  You should have
been, it was great) - we achieved 100% participation in the campaign and
raised $245.  Just so you realize, that's $10.65 per person!!!!  And let me
say again ­ 100% participation!

MAD is charged with helping Gotham help others through the support of the
not-for-profit related efforts of its members, and Gotham generally. SO  -
WE CHALLENGE YOU!!!

Gotham Members ­ Can you help us raise over $20,000 to give to a couple of
501(c)(3)s that work in your communities?

Gotham G.C.s ­ Can you get 100% participation in the Summer of Giving from
your members and from each of your meetings? Can you exceed the $245 we
gathered today (and however much we will keep gathering) and thereby claim
$500 for a charity designated from your group?

We invite you to pick up our friendly gauntlet and try!  Just so you know
though, when it comes to charitable giving, so far MAD is Fred's favorite
group!!!  ;)

Let the competition of the Summer of Giving (aka, Gotham's Giving Games) to
show how generous Gotham members and Gotham groups can be commence!!!!
