[Fredslist] Let the Tribe know you're there

Too many members of our tribe appear to miss a fascinating opportunity to let other members of the tribe know/ meet you.  

When you ride the circuit -- signing up via the Gotham website, or RSVP to your Group Coordinator to confirm your attendance at your group meeting, the Gotham Website designed by our webmaster extraordinaire -- Mitch Tobol, empowers each Gotham member to announce their planned participation in any Gotham meeting or event.  

I urge all Gotham Group and event Coordinators to remind their group members and circuit riders to share their confirmed attendance.  And with good reason:  I took this time to make sure folks know of this cool tool on our Gotham site because at least one prospect passed on a well-attended Gotham Brooklyn Power Breakfast because the person viewed the website and did not see anyone sharing their plans to attend.  Let's all try to do our part and not have that occur for another event.
Here's how:
Click the "I'll be there button" 

It's an individual member feature meaning if you click on that button you expect to show up.  Only the member can sign up in his or her name.

Individual members cannot rely on their Group's Coordinators to announce on the website that they will make a meeting; the GCs would need each individual's User Name and Password.

Find the button when you click on an event.  You can announce your intentions even before you go to pay (when applicable).  In the "Actions" box just below the solid blue line find the  button.  

So please when you sign up for an event, share the news!!!.

I already shared my plans to attend my LI Legal Group and GOtham GREEN (breakfast and then lunch on April 18 -- maybe I will see you at one or both)

GCs, when you promote an event, please remind folks to share their intention to participate.
