Truly sorry to have missed this invaluable seminar. One can never learn too much about contracts. My first year in business in the late eighties, my partner and I spent tens of thousands on contract attorneys. I can tell you first hand, that without an a mutual OUT clause, you can be sunk. And sometimes, even the mere placement of a comma can determine whether fortunes can be gained or lost. I hope Susan will give this again some day.

Susan presented a phenomenal, clear-cut lesson on how to read & negotiate contracts.

The handouts made sense.

Susan's fundamental guidance is brilliant in it's simplicity.

A) READ all parts of the contract

B) If you do NOT understand the contract, ask for clarity...or don't sign

As fellow Gothamite & attendee Rita Sue Siegel said, if your gut says the deal stinks, walk away.
