[Fredslist] ILA strike postponed ?

 Good morning Gothamites,

Update on the ILA ( International Longshoreman's Association )? potential strike for October 1, 2012.

As of : September 20, 2012:

Both parties have decided that " for the good of the country " they will extend the collective bargaining agreement due to expire September 30, 2012 for a 90 day period, through December 29, 2012.

This is good news for the upcoming holiday season for importers and exporters.
