Greetings, fellow Gothamonians, near & far . . . . . and those in the Hinterlands, too -

I appear before you on bended knee - - - and, at my age, that's no easy feat!  Gotham's SUMMER OF GIVING is drawing to a close, and a little birdy tells me that we're coming up short of our - admittedly lofty - goal.  Can we all find it in our hearts to click on this link, Www.gothamfoundation.org<http://Www.gothamfoundation.org>, take out a credit or debit card, and give just a little bit more?  $10?  $25?  $50?  $100?  $432.87?

Come the December cocktail party, when the grant winners are announced, you'll feel that much better - OK, maybe the eggnog helps some - knowing that we all kicked it up a notch!  Now, I'm not suggesting that Fred Klein is going to go all "Oral Roberts" on us.  I'm not even sure that God (or god) would even WANT to call him home if we fell short of the goal, but just in case, how about just one more for The Gipper!
