Ah Gotham great networking and making a difference too!

FYI to those who may be wondering about the pencils a friend of mine who
is a jeweler recently traveled to Tanzania for the tanzanite. She went with
a foundation and they asked her to bring school supplies she brought
pencils and pencil sharpeners, and balls that could be blown up. The
response she got from the goods was both profoundly sad and beautifully
moving. Many of the kids she met and had absolutely nothing not a pencil,
not a piece of paper and not a ball. They were tremendously appreciative of
the pencils and other things she brought.

It's great to see Gotham supporting Steve's efforts in this way good for
Gotham Downtown and good for Steve and best for the kids who will get the
pencils!

TRADE CENTER

Good Evening Along the Network,

As the new GC of Downtown Gotham, it is my pleasure to report on today's
rocking meeting. Members, circuit riders and guests (members-to-be)
networked Gotham style. Susan Cleary, Co-Chair
ran a great meeting. Did I mention the view from the 20th floor terrace and
the food?

Jefferson Crowther was riding the circuit as our banker, Andy Blumetti
allowed him to do so. Coopetition at its highest level.

Jefferson told us about his son's heroism and he wasn't the only one at the
table to lose a child, Wazi was there too. That was a bonding experience
for both men and for the group.

Steve Maggi, Esq. announced a trip to Africa to a school he was visiting and
the need for pencils. Al D'Elia (Real Estate group and architect)
challenged the group by saying if everyone would donate a box of pencils, he
would donate two boxes. The cash started flowing towards Steve. It was
inspirational, especially the day after being at the Make A Difference
group. The power of Gotham.

Our next meeting is on November 19th and we are seriously looking for
members. We have many open categories and we are a non-compete group.
Please contact me about guests, circuit riders and great Downtown Gothamites
to be.
