Same thing here in Queens...but this morning we drove up to the Bronx.....pulled right in and filled up....people with both odd and even license plates....no lines....no police....

I was in CT today and stopped to buy gas for my vehicle.
And had this really interesting experience

I drove into the gas station, there were no lines, and went right to a pump, filled up and left..  - 3 minutes
Lines in Nassau County are a mile long and you have to sweat out whether they will have any gas after you have waited a couple of hours.

Can someone tell me why there are lines in NYS (even with odd even fill ups) and none in CT?

And at this moment, I am looking at my Propane bills for heating and cooking in my place in MA.
10/29/11     $2.34 per gal
12/29/11      $2.24 per gal
2/27/12       $ 2.09 per gal
5/14/12       $1.88 per gal
11/5/12        $1.88 per gal

those are my total deliveries for the last year.

Can someone tell me why propane prices are dropping while gasoline prices are increasing?

By the way, home heating oil at $4.099 per gallon
