[Fredslist] Seeking a report to say LIPA lied to us

LIPA lied to us. They promised me I would have power by today. Now they are
saying that I have to understand that with 30,000 more people out I may have
no power before next week.

They state that as much as a survey of my tree, that caused the outage in my
area, was done, that they haven't got control over the tree crew who
inspects the tree and then recommends the wire crew to come and fixed the
wires.  They don't know when the tree crew will come.  They also don't
control how fast the tree crew and the wire crew communicated and schedule
fixing it.  I would like to speak to a reporter and get this story out. This
is so badly managed.  I realize that I'm not the only one, but many
neighborhoods around me now have power but because of my tree, I have to
wait on line till minimally November 14th now.  I'm sure that there are
other neighborhoods with the same mismanaging and poor communication.  When
calling LIPA's call center it is met only with a script that power will be
turned on between November 10-14th  and there is nothing else they can do or
say. I spoke to numerous supervisors. No one had answers.   The script I got
originally was till Nov 7th.  They lied. Is there a class action law suit
for any of this by the way?  What say you Gotham.  Any ideas?
