[Fredslist] United Way assisting Coney Island Tomorrow -please pass on - Need volunteers

In partnership with the NYC Mayor’s Office, United Way of New York City and
its volunteers will be assessing the needs of residents in Coney Island who
were affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The first 125 volunteers to sign up and complete the following
required *Volunteer
Acknowledgment and Release

* will be accepted.

All volunteers will meet at 11:00 AM at Surf Avenue Playground located at
West 25thStreet and Surf Avenue in Coney Island (see Google
Map<http://action.unitedwaynyc.org/page/m/1312fd4c/186afba2/399892d/3f6b28da/593861275/VEsC/>).
Additional information and details will be provided in a follow-up email to
all confirmed volunteers later tonight and at the volunteer briefing
tomorrow morning.

Please remember to bring an umbrella, rain boots, warm clothes, pens, a
flashlight and a clipboard (if possible) as well as water and a packed
lunch for yourself.

We cannot provide transportation to the site at this time, please check
