[Fredslist] Collection sites for Hurricane Sandy

Gotham:



For those of you in NYC, both The Saloon and Firehouse (addresses  & info to follow) will be collecting food, water, personal hygience items, clothing, shoes this weekend.  These items will go to those who lost pretty much everything in the Rockaways/Breezy Point.  They are especially in need of shoes, food, water; clothes are needed but much has been donated already.  The information is as follows:



    The Saloon, 1584 York Ave (between 83-84th Sts); 212 570 5454.  They are collecting all day Saturday, not sure about Sunday but will have information on their phone shortly.



    Firehouse, 522 Columbus Ave (85th St); collecting Sat & Sun until 5P.  212 595 3139.
