That is an impossible question to answer because each individual is
different.

Cheaper premiums will have you paying more out of pocket but if you do not
have a lot of medical expense, that could be the right plan for you.

For example, a Married couple on AARP Plan F will pay $460 per month but
will not have any co-pays
The same couple on AARP Plan N will pay $320 per month but will have to pay
most co-pays.
The difference of $160 per month for the couple with a maximum co-pay of
$20 means EIGHT visits per month is the break even point.  Most couples are
not going to the doctor 8 times per month.

It is the premium differential + the co-pays paid  that makes the decision
more rational.

Then you need to decide if you want to pick your doctor or if you want the
Plan to pick it.  Based upon what you can afford.

And do not forget, different areas of the country might have different
premiums for the same coverage.
