Below is a summary of the BLS jobs report for May, which was released today:
 
·        U.S. payrolls increased by 69,000 in May
·        The private sector added 82,000 jobs during the month, while government lost 13,000 jobs
·        The unemployment rate rose to 8.2 percent 
·        The unemployment rate for college-degreed workers 25 and older is 3.9 percent
·        Temporary help services added 9,200 jobs over the month
