If you are interested in how non profit educational organizations are leveraging technology in regard to membership, affiliation and innovative programming,  I wanted to invite you to learn more about two events, The Jewish Futures Conference<http://www.jewishfutures.net/> and The Jewish Education Project Celebrate Our Future Reception<http://www.jewisheducationproject.org/> which will be taking place on Monday, June 4th at Columbia University. The Conference begins at 3:30PM and the reception begins at 6:30PM where the Jewish Education Project  will honor five innovative Jewish educators with its Young Pioneers Award.

The 2012 JEWISH FUTURES Conference (#jewishfutures or jewishfutures.net<file:///C:\Documents%20and%20Settings\saidlowerr\Local%20Settings\Temporary%20Internet%20Files\Content.Outlook\KI2V69SG\JEWISHFUTURES.NET>), is joint project of The Jewish Education Project and JESNA's Lippman Kanfer Institute , is the premier event for the New York Jewish community including lay and professional leaders, grass roots educators, educational resource providers, philanthropists, students and those viewing the conference via live web stream to come together discuss the role technology now plays within Jewish communities nationwide and communities can meet those challenges.
>From FaceBook to Twitter, Listserv's to blogs, Jews are embracing technology and incorporating it within their life while enhancing their love of traditional Judaism. During this three hour event, representatives of various organizations will discuss what technological advancements are taking place in the Jewish world today and how to leverage these practices to reinforce Jewish institutional life.

Our keynote speakers will continually answer the questions "how will the evolving natures of belonging, membership and affiliation influence Jewish communities of the future?" "how will Jewish Life and learned be impacted as we move to an increasingly networking world? And "what happens when the bricks hit (or at least meets) the cloud?"
