We are looking for someone who can use their social media skills to help us
change the world. The healthcare part at least. The more familiar this
person is with overall web-related activities (and other technology), the
better. We’re looking for the most passionate person we can find, and I’m
hoping you could pass this along to anyone who comes to mind!

The Global Healthy Living Foundation, a non-profit patient access and
advocacy organization is looking for a social media/community  manager/tech
person. We need someone who can stay on top of Tweets, our Facebook pages,
and our websites. This means being creative and technical. You’ll need to
create and maintain sites using WordPress, and nurture our communities
which number nearly 100,000 people with chronic disease and their
caregivers. Content is legislative, medical, political and personal so the
right candidate should have a high comfort level in these areas, and be
able to relate  this information to the patient, too. It’s a big job that
requires a few different skill sets including a knowledge of how to use
social media technology, how to write for a social media audience, a
willingness to stay current with consumer-oriented medical news, an
interest in state and Federal legislative health issues, a strong writing
and critical thinking ability, and the ability to work efficiently with our
cloud providers. This job has been made bigger by the recent Supreme Court
ruling, so salary is equal to the job, your qualifications, and enthusiasm.
It includes a zero co-pay, zero-deductible health insurance plan, a defined
