Hi Fred,



I have made a decision to make a career change.  The merchandising company
that I had been VP of Sales and Marketing for closed down just before the
holidays after I had been there for only 5 weeks.  I immediately went back
to the business development outsourcing practice that I had started before
they hired me, but I do not see this as a long term solution.  I am very
interested in pursuing leads in the Aviation and Aerospace industry out here
on Long Island.  I have several contacts in the industry who have indicated
that this is a field in which my relationship building and selling skills
would allow me to thrive.  I am prepared to pay my dues.  I understand that
in whatever position I initially attain I will be over qualified with
respect to sales/management ability, yet under qualified with respect to
industry experience.



What I am looking for is not open jobs, but simply opportunities to meet
people of influence in the industry.  People of influence would be owners,
executives, managers, salespeople, HR managers, etc.  If there is any way
for you and your vast extension of relationships to be of assistance in
connecting me with people upon who I could make my impression on, I would be
forever grateful.  I have complete confidence in my ability not  only to
make a strong first impression, but also to excel once I get my foot in the
door.  I just need that first break.
