[Fredslist] Need homeowners insurance help

Dear Gotham -

I recently switched carriers for my homeowners insurance. They sent an inspector who discovered moss on my roof. They summarily cancelled my policy alerted the mortgage company and sent back my premium check. I now find myself with 11 days to set this situation right. It looks like I'll have to replace a 15 year old roof in good condition (except for some moss which I can easily sweep off), pay a much higher premium for insurance (now that I have been cancelled), and I have to worry that my mortgage is in danger.
Help!
