Hello, Gotham.

I am writing on behalf of DebRA, a national not for profit which supports research initiatives into cure and treatment of a genetic disorder called EPIDURMOLYSIS BUILOSA ("EB"). EB is a genetic disorder wherein, because of a missing protein, the two layers of skin do not stick together so any friction or trauma causes a blister or  wound. These wounds take a long time, if ever, to heal, and are highly prone to infection and scarring. Many children lose use of their hands by the age of five from this repeated injury and scarring. Many die before they reach puberty from infection. Some need six surgeries a year just to be able to swallow liquids.
