Most of these shows will not make my summer concert lists; I generally do not include cover bands, no matter how well they play, on the must see list I prepare once all the information is posted.
The first show will make my list for sure.

2011 Town of Hempstead Free Neighborhood Concert Series

All shows begin at 8 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

Blood, Sweat and Tears
Date: Saturday, June 25 - Veteran's Salute begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by concert at 8 p.m.
Location: Town Park, Point Lookout

The Annual Independence Salute starring Rock superstars Blood, Sweat and Tears, Bay Fireworks and a salute to heroic veterans at 7:30 p.m. Rain date, Sunday, June 26.
Veterans Salute Contributors: Swingbelly's BBQ, Quick Snack, Entenmann's Family Bakery, Dairy Barn, Naturally Boulder Beverage.
