NEW! Marketing and Communications Manager - Salaried Position
CPR is currently seeking a mid-level marketing professional to join its
14-person staff. The Marketing and Communications Manager will provide a
broad range of support to the organization and will play an integral role in
executing an overall marketing strategy that combines event management,
social media, and web-based communications platforms with traditional marketing
communications vehicles. His/her primary objective will be to broadly and
effectively promote CPR’s think tank and public policy related ADR
initiatives to a diverse and executive-level legal audience. The position reports
to the Vice President and Director of Marketing. Responsibilities include:
* Manage and maintain a calendar of events and implement a system
that enables and anticipates long-term planning and effective event
management for CPR’s Annual Meetings, regional events and online seminars.
* Plan, organize, and manage the logistics and marketing of CPR’s
events, and handle all operational, implementation and post-event activities.
* Leverage custom e-communication tools, email, direct mail, and web
tools to craft and disseminate effective messages to CPR’s members and
prospects.
* Assist in developing new revenue sources through event, program
and web sponsorships and explore cross-selling implications of strategic p
artnerships with like-minded organizations and vendors.
* Draft and disseminate media releases, Participate in industry
blogs and expand CPR’s social media participation.
* Edit website content, draft monthly e-newsletters and assist in
drafting the organization’s annual report.
* Work collaboratively across departments to create and manage
integrated marketing programs.

The ideal candidate would possess:
* Experience in marketing, communications, PR,
development/membership, and/or event planning.
* Superior written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage
projects independently.
* Ability to multi-task, plan, organize and prioritize work.
* Resourcefulness in solving problems or addressing challenges.
* Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
* Utmost professionalism and good judgment.
* Strong work ethic
* Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
* A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a
related field.
* Prior not-for-profit or legal experience desired but not necessary.
