Sunday, May 15, Bowery Arts + Science will be presenting a benefit program
with the participation of several well-known actors, including Patricia
Clarkson and David Straithairn, who will be performing.  Attached is more
information about the event.

Bowery Arts + Science is a tax-exempt non-profit organization with a special
focus on the preservation and development of poetry and the oral traditions,
including preservation of endangered languages, through a variety of
programs and activities, including poetry slams and poetry workshops for
youth at risk, African griot performances and programs such as the
POEMobile, a truck that visits ethnic neighborhoods and projects onto
buildings poems by poets from that neighborhood's historic ethnicity (eg, on
the Lower East Side, Yiddish poems both in Yiddish and in English
translation)  in connection with programs specific to that neighborhood.
