Programmer Analyst - Access, Excel - Salary to $65K
Prestigious energy management consulting firm is experiencing explosive growth
and seeks a super Access Programmer Analyst for Brooklyn office.
Responsibilities:
* Update and design existing database
* Work in conjunction with the Principal to provide support for various
database applications
* Create and maintain reporting tools used by management
* Work closely with Principal to compile daily, weekly and monthly reports
* Serve as technical contact for various projects
* Examine current processes for automation opportunities
* Break/fix and technical troubleshooting
* Monitor and record change controls
Qualifications:
* Proficient experience with using MS Access (Expert level) and Excel tools
* Working knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus
* Demonstrated history of developing technical solutions to improve business
management and performance.
* Ability to design meaningful reports, strong analytical skills and experience
in developing process improvements
* Independent thinking and creativity plus ability to work in a team
environment
* Data & file extract and reformatting experience
* Strong use/experience of Reporting Tools
* Create and maintain procedural documents
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Ideal candidate will be bright, personable and have a desire to progress to
an analyst role, supporting day-to-day operations
