Congratulations to Gothamite Rabbi Alan Stein (who, until know, has been wearing his attorney hat when attending Gotham meetings) on fulfilling his dream of forming a new congregation - Temple Shalom in Woodbury (Long Island), New York. Alan will have the added pleasure of sharing the "bima" (stage) with his father Cantor Stephen Stein.
