[Fredslist] Blogger Short Story Week

Hi all-

 As you might know, the blogs next week will be a bit different from what you might be used to. On Sunday, Don, who proposed the idea, is going to publish the beginning of a story to which I will have to add to on Monday, Nancy will then add to it on Tuesday, and so on through the week. Don will finish the story the following Sunday.

This is a format that is very dear to me. When my parents first moved to Florida, my Mom would send my older daughter letters, who was then 6, with the beginning of a story. My daughter would then add lines to the story and send it back to her. They would continue to do this until they had a finished story. And then they would start again. After my Mom died, I found copies of the stories in with her most prized possessions. 

I urge you to read the blogs next week and participate in our format. You never know where an original story can go.
