 Here she is, my friend's delicious 3 year old lab named Polly (pronounced Polli, she's Italian!)  I would guess Polly is about 60 lbs she is an English Lab and not very large. She comes from a great lineage of labs. Her Italian official papers show 3 or 4 generations of her line. Polly is sound, unspayed and has no issues. 
My friends live in Italy on a large protected reserve where the dog lives outside in a large run. She has a terra cotta dog house. Polly is very well cared for but as of late is left alone alot. My friends travel and they have a farm mentality, (dogs serve a purpose, they hunt or guard and they don't allow her in the house.) While they are away the gardener feeds her. My friends don't think this is an ideal situation  that she is alone so much so they are looking for a new home for her. I've known this dog as a puppy and she is  so lovable and affectionate, she deserves a family that gives her more attention and physical contact.  I told my friends that I would take her to the US as I know dog lover's who would go crazy for a dog this good.  I am having her flown from Rome to the US  and she will be adoptable sometime after  September 15 ( Delta Airlines, nor I, will  fly animals before then due to the heat).  I 'm looking to place her in a home where she will get lots of love. 
Polly is a very playful, obedient and great with children. She will run for a ball, bring it back to you ,then sit and drop it at your feet.  I'm sure that she could even be a good hunter if trained to do so. Polly stays with you without a leash and comes when called. The only thing I am not sure of yet, is if she is housebroken. Since Polly has lived outdoors I have no idea of that yet. However I'm sure that it is not an obstacle. If need be, with a little training she would rise to the occasion as she is a very intelligent dog. Another unfamiliar thing  to her is that she is not car savvy, being a country girl she does not know about the dangers of car traffic. Other than this ,she is perfect.
That's all of it in a  nutshell. 


Let me know if you have someone worthy of her in mind.  I will not give her to just anyone wanting a dog.
