Gotham:

We are dealing with an issue whereby one of our subcontractors provided us
with a Liability and Workers Comp certificate and subsequently canceled the
policies without notifying us.  This subcontractor apparently does this very
often and given the state of the industry and the struggle of most small
subcontractors, this is no doubt a larger issue than we had been aware of.

My question is whether we would be liable for this sort of insurance fraud,
especially if and when we were audited for Workers Comp?
